We are working with a well known software tech business to find a Social Media Manager. They are based in Cambridge, but you'll only be required in the office once a month or so for meetings, so is almost fully remote. If you like working in a collaborative team and are looking for ownership over social media channels and strategy, whilst working hands on, our client and this role could be a great fit.
They are developing their digital marketing team and are looking for someone to take over all things social media from their agency. The role sits in a team of 7, and will develop and execute their organic social and third-party media strategies, across LinkedIn and Twitter predominantly, but progressing Facebook, Reddit and further sites. This is a hands on and strategic role where you’ll work closely with the rest of the marketing team to agree channels and collate, repurpose, and test content to engage multiple target personas.
The role in a nutshell;
- Develop, implement and drive their organic social media strategy, managing a content calendar for all channels and acting as an advocate for social media across the organisation.
- Lead third-party paid advertising strategy by identifying, evaluating and engaging relevant channels for paid media opportunities, working collaboratively to plan and execute advertising campaigns on industry and social channels and acting as the key point of contact and maintain relationships with third party media channels.
- Input in the creation of paid social campaigns to support international marketing teams.
- Continuously review and analyse performance.
