Exceptional Account Executive, Senior Account Executive and Account Manager required for top tier Fintech comms Agency
Salary: Account executive £25-28k (6 months plus experience), Senior Account Executive £28-35k (18 months + experience), Account manager £35-45k (2-3 years’ experience) 
 
This sector is issues rich and would suit someone who enjoys creating the news agenda, reputation management and thought leadership work. 
 
The Team
Our client is a public relations and strategic communications consultancy specialising in fintech. The client in question is an exciting, passionate and seriously ambitious full service PR agency who are specialists in financial technology.
They are firmly established who are still rapidly growing:
  • They were the first PR agency to focus exclusively on financial technology and therefore are leading the way for agencies in this sector.
  • With investment in fintech topping USD 150 billion last year, demand for their communications consultancy and services is growing.
  • They have seen the business grow by a third in just the last year and are on target to grow consistently over the next five-year plan
The Role
The successful candidate would be responsible for a portfolio of fintech accounts, making sure that work is delivered to the high standards that our client promises to their clients. They will be a high calibre PR practitioner ready to take on advanced skills such as hosting messaging workshops, running media training and dealing with crisis situations.
Responsibilities, Skills and Attributes
  • Writing – the successful candidate will be able to write well structured, persuasive copy across a broad range of written styles including complex white papers and Q&As
  • Media Liaison – They will have developed a strong media contact book, and will proactively nurture existing relationships and build new ones, regularly meeting with your contacts
  • Media pitching – They will be able to increase the rate at which you sell in stories by looking for the unusual angles to achieve results in difficult situations
  • Digital marketing – They will be able to use social media and other digital marketing tools effectively and will be experienced in running digital campaigns and reports
  • Client market understanding – They must gain a thorough understanding of each client’s business, following new developments in the market/industry sector and using them to the client’s advantage. The candidate should be able to discuss specific industry issues with confidence and have a clear and thorough understanding of business methods and standard practices within this industry and the marketplace
  • Quality standards – They will produce a high standard of work at all times, and will edit others’ work to ensure work reaches the client error free
