NEW Freelance EMEA & UK Internal Communications Manager position with a leading, global organisation. 

Their aim is to improve best practice and embed excellence across a huge range of sectors on a global scale. The core ambition is to be recognized and valued internationally as industry leaders and a best-in-class, growing company.

Our client has come a really long way since being founded hundreds of years ago. Today, they are a global business services organisation, respected across the globe for their work.

They are now looking for freelance support within their Internal Communications team, based in Milton Keynes. Please note, you do not need to be in the office every day, they are very big on flexi working/remote working. 

Overvierw:

You will cover both UK and global. 

Length: TBC, potentially until end of May 2022 or longer. 

Working as part of the Internal Communications team you will be responsible for developing and delivering an engaging and ‘client-focused’ internal communications strategy and framework that supports the delivery of the company's strategy and engages colleagues to:

  • feel pride in the company's purpose and mission and a sense of belonging and inclusion;
  • understand the overall strategy and goals;
  • know the values and understand what it means to them day-to-day;
  • hear the voice of their customers, have clarity on all products, services and understand the benefits provided. 

Key requirements: 

  • More than 5 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of internal communications current best practice
  • Knowledge of internal communications strategy and channels
  • Digital savvy and IT literate
  • Ability to communicate across a global, multi-cultural audience
  • Excellent communications skills (both verbal and written), and confident in writing, editing
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and project management skills
  • Reliable and detail-oriented
  • Ability to plan and prioritise
  • Ability to influence internal stakeholders
  • Team player
