We are delighted to be working with a global software business in Cambridgeshire. They provide a range of specialist, innovative products to a variety of sectors, with nearly 1 million users globally. These users range from SME's to 91% of organisations in the Fortune 100, including the likes of Google, Pepsi, Pfizer, HSBC, IBM etc. They are renowned for being one of the best employers in Cambridgeshire. They offered a flexible working approach pre-Covid, and are willing and able to offer a fully remote set-up if required, with occasional office working days for meetings (once a month).

They are entering into a new phase with some exciting transformations planned for 2022, including moving into a subscription- based business model. This change has led to the need for an established Content Manager, with previous b2b SaaS experience to join their team and take full ownership over crafting a content strategy which maximises audience engagement at all stages of the customer journey

Main Responsibilities;

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in the business to understand the content needs of our target audiences
  • Leverage market and customer insights to inform themes and topics
  • Manage and optimize existing content sites and assets
  • Develop a content calendar and plan that increases visibility and simplifies delivery of various content marketing initiatives
  • Lead an experienced team to support content delivery

Key Experience ;

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a B2B Technology/Saas business is essential
  • Understanding and responding to customer content needs
  • Developing and implementing successful content marketing strategies
  • All aspects of content development and creation
  • Leading and inspiring writers, editors, advocates, and marketers
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Building internal consensus around data-driven decisions
